Do you move furniture?
We move items like small chairs, small tables and beds on casters. We can't move couches, wall units, or anything with breakable items in it or on it, and we can't move electronic equipment. You should clear the floor of any small items, like pot plants, books or toys.
Should I vacuum the carpet before the technician arrives to clean it?
No, this is not necessary. We use professional vacuum cleaning machines and professional techniques to get results that a home vacuum cannot acheive. It should be noted, however, that regularly vacuuming your carpets will ensure great results from carpet cleaning and a stronger, longer lasting and hygienic carpet.
Will all stains be removed? Can it be guaranteed?
We use a special range of cleaning solutions to match most stains. However, some stains may have set, which means they could be permanent. So we can't guarantee to remove every stain.
What method of carpet cleaning do you use?
We use the hot water extraction method of carpet cleaning as recommended by Choice magazine, also called "steam cleaning". This is the only way to ensure a thorough, hygienic clean. Hot water extraction is a deep clean. Dry cleaning is a surface clean only. Dry cleaning leaves chemicals on the carpet that may cause re-soiling and could void the manufacturer’s warranty.
What method of payment do you use?
You can pay with cash, cheque or electronic funds transfer (a signed customer agreement is required for EFT or cheque payment). Sorry, we do not take credit cards or EFTPOS. Please refer to the accounts page for payment details.
